March 4, 2018

NEW YORK ââ'¬" Penn State sophomore guard Tony Carr was named to the 2018 Big Ten Tournament All-Tournament team following the championship game at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.

The Philadelphia, Pa., native joins the Big Ten Tournament Most Valuable Player Moritz Wagner and Muhammed-Ali Abkur-Rahkman from Michigan, Carsen Edwards of Purdue and Corey Sanders of Rutgers on the 2018 edition of the Big Ten All-Tournament team.

Carr, who scored 25 points in back-to-back games against Northwestern and Ohio State, averaged 20.7 points over the three games. He is one of only six players in Big Ten Tournament history to have multiple 25-point games in a single Big Ten Tournament.

In 2011, Talor Battle earned All-Tournament honors and most recently, D.J. Newbill was voted to the five-man team in 2015.
