University Park, Pa. ââ'¬" Traveling abroad is a life-changing experience and this summer the Penn State women's basketball team has the opportunity to experience the culture and lifestyle, while competing against peers from another country, as they will travel to Spain in mid-August.
While many of our alums have found success playing internationally, it was an opportunity like this that gave many of them their first taste of international travel. These trips, as a standard among all Penn State varsity teams, are solely funded by philanthropy.
