BASE Adjusts Ohio State Schedule

April 13, 2018

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State baseball has adjusted its weekend schedule for games against Ohio State in Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, moving the game Sunday to a Saturday doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. due to the threat of inclement weather. Friday's game will start at 6:30 p.m. as originally scheduled.

Fans with tickets for the Sunday game or any other postponed game this season can redeem them at the State College Spikes box office for any other 2018 Penn State baseball game.

The Bald Eagle Area-Penns Valley High School baseball game scheduled for Saturday on Medlar Field following the Penn State-Ohio State game has been shifted to Bald Eagle Area with a 3 p.m. start time, while the Penn State Student Marketing Association Wiffle Ball tournament scheduled for Sunday has been postponed to a to be determined date.

However, Sunday's scheduled promotions including Military Appreciation Day, Postgame Kids Run the Bases and Postgame autographs have been rescheduled for Saturday

Baseball fans attending the game Saturday should park in the Porter North lot with overflow parking available in the lower part of the adjacent Jordan East parking lot south of Dauer Drive. The ASME E-Fest Human-Powered Vehicle Challenge will be held along Curtin Road near the Bryce Jordan Center, so Curtin Road will be closed between University Drive and Porter Road and the Jordan East parking lot will be closed north of Dauer Road.
