UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State track & field team honored its senior class following its lone home meet of the outdoor season, the Jim Thorpe Open, on Friday, May 4.
With a small contingent of Nittany Lions competing in a handful of events, the meet was highlighted by Quenee Dale (Ypsilanti, Mich.) and Jon Yohman (New Wilmington, Pa.).
Dale clocked in at a personal-best time of 13.62 in the women's 100-meter hurdles to finish first. Dale's time Friday improved her No. 6 spot in program history. In the field, Yohman took first in the men's shot put with his toss of 59 feet, 10 ¼ inches.
In addition to Dale and Yohman capturing titles, another 10 Nittany Lions won event titles.

The Nittany Lions head to Bloomington, Indiana, for the 2018 Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The meet is held at the Robert C. Haugh Complex, May 11-13.
