UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The 2018 Penn State Football poster will be available Thursday, July 12 and distributed at various locations in State College by members of the Penn State Football team. Additionally, the Nittany Lion Club and Penn State Alumni Association chapters will host free Poster Pick Up Parties in North Jersey, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Harrisburg and Washington D.C.
Members of the Penn State football team will be distributing the 2018 poster Thursday, July 12 from 6:45-7:45 p.m. in downtown State College (Beaver and College Avenues), at Gate A at Beaver Stadium and throughout campus.
The Poster Pick Up Parties will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in Washington D.C., 6-8 p.m. in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Harrisburg and 7-9 p.m. in North Jersey. All Poster Pick Up Parties are free to attend.
The Pittsburgh Poster Pick Up Party will take place at Buckhead Saloon -- 225 W. Station Square Dr., the Philadelphia Poster Pick Up Party will take place at Field House -- 1150 Filbert Street, the Harrisburg Poster Pick Up Party will take place at the Vineyard & Brewery at Hershey -- 598 Schoolhouse Road, Middletown and the Washington D.C. Poster Pick Up Party will be held at Proper 21 -- 1319 F St. NW.
The North Jersey Poster Pick Up Party will be at Redds Restaurant -- 317 Washington Ave., Carlstatdt, NJ 07072.
The Poster Pick Up Parties will be hosted by the following area alumni chapters: Metro Washington D.C. Beginning Friday, July 13, posters will be available in State College at the Penn State All Sports Museum, Penn State Bookstore, Penn State Ticket Offices (BJC and Beaver Stadium), Student Bookstore, Family Clothesline, McLanahans, Primanti Brothers, Federal Taphouse, PSECU (502 E College Ave, State College; 121 Strawberry Street & One Innovation Way, Harrisburg), State College Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships (Blaise Alexander Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Blaise Alexander Hyundai Mazda), The Pointe and Days Inn.
Penn State returns 13 starters (8 offensive, 3 defensive, 2 specialists) and 26 additional lettermen. The Nittany Lions open the season at Beaver Stadium against Appalachian State September 1.
More than 6,300 new season tickets have been sold for the 2018 season presented by PSECU. The public single game sale takes place beginning June 26.
