"Daniel George is a dynamic athlete who excels in the classroom, on the football field and in track and field. He is Oxon Hill High School's all-time leader in receptions, receptions yards and touchdowns receptions. Daniel is a big, physical, fast wide receiver with great hand and ball skills. Daniel runs great routes and has the ability to make big plays. Daniel has a great work ethic and strives to be the best in whatever he does. Daniel competed on the Oxon Hill two-time State 3A Championship team on the 4x200, 4x400 and in the 300 hurdles. He was named first team All-Met in the Washington Post and was selected to several track & field All-American teams for his efforts in track. Daniel is a three-time All Prince George's County Coaches Association first team All-League selection and a 2-time 1st Team WR selection in the Washington Post. Daniel is considered the number one rated wide receiver in the state and the sixth rated player in the state of Maryland. He is rated as a 4-star WR by Rivals.com, 247Sports.com, Scout.com and ESPN.com high school football rating publications. Daniel helped to lead the Oxon Hill Clippers to its first regional finals and state semifinal appearance in 24 years. He was often double teamed and covered by the opponent's best defenders. Daniel was still able to be one of the DMV area top wide receivers with 61 receptions 897 yards, 11 touchdowns, 1262 all-purpose yards with three Punt returns for touchdowns and one kickoff return for a touchdown with eight interceptions and two returned for touchdowns."
