How Does the Seat Equity Plan Affect Me?The Seat Equity Plan may or may not have an impact on your current seat locations or your annual Nittany Lion Club contributions.Beginning in July 2010, a Nittany Lion Club donor's required annual contribution will be determined by three factors when purchasing season tickets - (1) the quantity of season tickets the donor wishes to purchase (as is currently the case); (2) whether the donor would like additional benefits (Preferred or Reserved Parking); and (3) the desired location(s) of season tickets. To determine how the Seat Equity Plan will specifically affect their situation, a Nittany Lion Club member who purchases football season tickets must: Step #1: Select desired quantity of season tickets The required 2011 Nittany Lion Club Giving Levels shown below determine the minimum contribution necessary for the quantity of football tickets desired. For example, a season ticket holder with four (4) tickets must contribute a minimum of $400. Please reference the Nittany Lion Club Giving Levels chart below and enter your minimum contribution based on ticket quantity here: $ ___________________ Step #2: Select additional benefits (Preferred or Reserved Parking) A Nittany Lion Club member who wants Preferred or Reserved Parking in addition to season tickets must refer again to the 2011 Nittany Lion Club Giving Levels chart (below) to determine the minimum contribution needed for their desired combination of season ticket quantity and parking. The addition of specific parking privileges may require a larger minimum annual contribution. For example, as indicated on the 2011 Giving Levels Chart, a Nittany Lion Club member who wishes to purchase four (4) season tickets, but wants a Reserved Parking space as well, will contribute a minimum of $2,500 per year. Please reference the Nittany Lion Club Giving Levels chart below and enter your minimum contribution based on parking type and quantity here: $ ___________________ Step #3: Select desired seat location(s) on the color-coded 2011 Beaver Stadium Seating Chart. The Seat Equity Plan will reflect a Nittany Lion Club member's annual contribution to the assigned location of their football season tickets by establishing a minimum contribution level for all Beaver Stadium seating. The total amount due based on zone seating is not a donation requirement over and above a season ticket holder's annual Nittany Lion Club contribution. Rather, the Seat Equity zone-based contribution represents an additional factor in determining annual contribution levels that reflect ticket location, as well as quantity of season tickets and parking. Step #4: On lines below, please enter the - Total from STEP #1 $ ___________________ Total from STEP #2 $ ___________________ Total from STEP #3 $ ___________________ Your total 2011 minimum contribution will be the greatest of the 3 amounts determined in Steps 1, 2 and 3. Remember, these new donation levels will not take affect until July 1, 2010. New donation levels do not include ticket purchase. Online Seat Equity Calculator In order to most easily establish your minimum donation level required for 2011, please use the "STEP Online Calculator." By entering your desired ticket quantity, ticket location(s) and parking benefits into the calculator, you can easily assess what your 2011 Nittany Lion Club donation will need to be. As previously indicated, this amount may not change at all for many season ticket buyers. Seat Equity Plan Timing and Deadlines The quantity and location of seats for the 2011 football season will be determined by Nittany Lion Club contributions for the 2011 membership year, which begins on July 1, 2010 and concludes on February 1, 2011.
