Hi, viewers!
I'm Jessica Parness from Boston, Mass. I am a senior here at Penn State University majoring in broadcast journalism with minors in Spanish and sociology. Penn State University and GoPSUSports.com have provided me with an excellent platform to expand my knowledge and passion for broadcasting and sports journalism alike.
Previously, I have held positions as an intern for the sports department at NBC Boston as well as WPSU Sports in State College. Both internships provided me with a wide range of experiences in broadcasting and production. In these station's sports departments, I did everything from logging and editing footage to assisting with highlights as well as some on-camera reporting.
My hobbies include anything related to Boston sports. I a huge fan of Tom Brady! I also enjoy being a part of the Triple Crown All Star Cheerleading Team and participating in THON with my communications committee and my sorority.
