Hi all,
My name Is Jon Schneider. I am a senior here at Penn State majoring in journalism with minors in business for the liberal arts and international studies. As well as being a print journalism major, I am also part of the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism.
My experience in the world of sports journalism spans many platforms. Previously, I have interned with Men's Fitness Magazine, SNY (Sportsnet New York), as well as Bleacherreport.com. My experience with these different media outlets includes working as a site editor, writing in-magazine content, producing web video content, as well as blogging.
Currently, I still work with SNY as a blogger for the website, Giantsfootballblog.com. The New York Giants based blog is part of the umbrella of blog networks owned by SNY, which are derived of sites for all the major New York teams. I started writing on the blog in early July, and continue to do so today.
My hobbies include anything from hooking up the Xbox 360, to getting outside and playing pretty much any sport. I love sports, therefore I love to write about sports so writing here on GoPSUSports.com, is something I am happy to be contributing too.
