KANSAS CITY - Emily Ogle (Strongsville, Ohio) has been named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List, as announced by the United Soccer Coaches and the Missouri Athletic Club. Ogle, who was named to the watch list in 2017, is among the 44 nominees on the watch list in 2018.
The MAC Hermann Trophy, presented by World Wide Technology, is the most prestigious individual award in college soccer and is presented annually to the most outstanding male and female players of the year. This year's winners will be announced Friday, Jan. 4, 2019 at the Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis.
A redshirt senior midfielder, Ogle has started all 75 matches of her Nittany Lion career. During her time donning the Blue & White, she has tallied 44 points on 14 goals and 16 assists.
The 2017 season saw Ogle bring home College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-American Second Team honors, All-Big Ten First Team plaudits, Big Ten All-Tournament Team honors, and United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Region First Team accolades.
