UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State softball team has announced its 2018 fall ball schedule, which includes four 10-inning games and two doubleheaders.
Head coach Amanda Lehotak and her team will host three of the four 10-inning games at Beard Field, with the first on Thursday, Sept. 20 at 6:30 p.m. against Bucknell.
The following weekend, the Blue and White will play two more 10-inning match-ups, against Lock Haven on Saturday, Sept. 22 at 1 p.m. at Beard Field before traveling to Bucknell's home plate on Sunday, Sept. 23 (time TBD).
The first weekend of October will feature the final two preseason doubleheaders. On Saturday, Oct. 6 starting at 1 p.m. the Nittany Lions will face Bellevue before facing Adelphi starting at noon on Sunday, Oct. 7 at Beard Field.
The Nittany Lions will round out play in a midweek, 10-inning game against Lock Haven on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 5:30 p.m., also at Beard Field.
Admission to all fall ball games at Beard Field is free.
