2018-19 Schedule
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Big Ten Conference unveiled its 2018-19 league-wide women's basketball television selections Thursday, and the Penn State women's basketball team will be featured on national television six times during the regular season.
The Lady Lions will play in front of a nationally-televised audience on the Big Ten Network (BTN) five times throughout the regular season, in addition to having one game on ESPN2.
Penn State will host Princeton (Nov. 18, 2 p.m.) and Stony Brook (Nov. 25, 1 p.m.) in a pair of nationally-televised non-conference battles on BTN.
The Lady Lions have four conference games slated for national TV, beginning with a road showdown at Maryland (Jan. 20, 2 p.m.) that will be broadcast on ESPN2. Penn State can be seen on BTN when it travels to Minnesota (Feb. 17, 2 p.m.) and Illinois (Feb. 24, 4 p.m.).
The Lady Lions close out the regular season at home against Nebraska (March 2, 3 p.m.) on BTN.
All remaining conference games, and select non-conference games, that are not televised on BTN or the ESPN family of networks will be carried by BTN Plus. The Big Ten Tournament Championship game will be broadcast on ESPN2, while every other tournament game is set for BTN.
2018-19 Lady Lions
The 2018-19 edition of the Penn State women's basketball program features a veteran laden squad that adds three rookies who will look to contribute early. Penn State returns over 85 percent of its offensive production and more than 75 percent of minutes played from a season ago. Head coach Coquese Washington enters her 12th season at the helm of the program, with three Big Ten Championships and seven national postseason tournament appearances under her belt.
