RICHMOND, Va. – Rains suspended play midway through the first round of the VCU Janney Invitational at the Country Club of Virginia on Monday. First-round action will resume at 8:30 a.m. ET. Tuesday, Oct. 18, with a final round to follow.

Three Nittany Lions completed at least five holes before the weather ceased play just before 11 a.m. ET.

The VCU Janney Invitational is traditionally a 54-hole tournament, but will be scored as a 36-hole competition due to the weather delay.

Live scoring will be available on GolfStat.com and a recap will be posted after completion of the second round on the Tuckahoe Creek course.
