UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Head Coach Jeff Kampersal and the Penn State women's ice hockey team have announced the addition of equipment manager Logan Fischer for the 2018-19 season.
Fischer joins the Nittany Lions after working various events with USA Hockey since 2015, including his role as the U.S. Women's National Team equipment manager at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games. He was also the equipment manager for Team USA during its residency in Wesley Chapel, Fla. prior to the Olympics.
Fischer also served as Team USA's equipment manager during the 2017 Under-18 series in Lake Placid and the 2017 International Ice Hockey Federation's U-18 Women's World Championships in Zlin & Prerov, Czech Republic.
The Saratoga Springs, N.Y. native also served as at the women's hockey equipment manager at Clarkson University from 2011-17 and its director of operations from 2014-17. He earned both his Bachelors ('15) and MBA ('17) degrees from Clarkson.
