Penn State travels to Milwaukee for Olympic Trial

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Ten Penn State fencers are heading to Milwaukee, Wis., this upcoming weekend to compete in the U.S. Olympic Trials. The Olympic Trials will start on Friday, Oct. 12th at 4 p.m. EST and will run until Monday, Oct. 15th.

Members of the Penn State women's team competing for Penn State this weekend are as follows: Epee -- Senior Anastasia Kalonji (Rennes, France). Foil -- Junior Jade Rowland (Princeton Junction, N.J.) and sophomore Lodovica Bicego (Vicenza, Italy). Saber -- Sophomore Kelli Wozniak (Westerville, Ohio).

Members of the men's team competing for Penn State this weekend are: Epee -- Senior Anton Piskovatsov (Houston, Texas) and freshman Ryan Griffiths (Fair Lawn, N.J.). Foil -- Sophomore Sebastiano Bicego (Vicenza, Italy) and freshman Sebastian Tirado (Dorado, Puerto Rico). Saber -- Senior Karol Metryka (Linden, N.J.) and sophomore Inti Farfan-Bayerl (Morrison, Colo.).
