Penn State Athletics to Recognize Outstanding Educators

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.– Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics is accepting nominations for outstanding educators for its third annual Educator Appreciation Day. Ten educators will be honored at the Nittany Lions' Senior Day game vs. Maryland.
 
Educator Appreciation Day honors and recognizes 10 outstanding educators for their dedication and service to their local community. Nominees during the past two years have included teachers, principals, coaches and guidance counselors; just some of the people that have a positive impact on education in their communities.
 
Penn State Athletics will select 10 outstanding educators, who will be honored at the Nittany Lions' Senior Day game vs. Maryland on Saturday, Nov. 24 in Beaver Stadium. Anyone can click here to nominate an educator from their community.
 
Educators, school district employees, their family and friends have an opportunity to attend the Educator Appreciation Day contest by purchasing discounted tickets. Tickets can be ordered by clicking HERE or visiting GoPSUsports.com/educatorappreciation
