UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Dietz & Watson, the official hot dog provider for Penn State Athletics, is proud to recognize Hometown Heroes at all 2018-19 Penn State men's basketball games. Dietz & Watson and Penn State are teaming up to honor those individuals who are going above and beyond for their friends, families, communities and country.
Hometown Heroes not only help others, but inspire those around them with their outstanding service and other selfless actions. An individual will be recognized at all 15 regular-season men's basketball games.
To have an individual considered for recognition as a Hometown Hero, nominations can be submitted online by providing the name and contact information for the individual as well as a brief reason why the person should be selected. The online form is located at www.gopsusports.com/HometownHero.
A confirmation will be displayed once the online form has been submitted. Those individuals selected as a Hometown Hero will be contacted at least two weeks in advance of the intended date of recognition.
