Penn State heads to Philly for Fencing Open

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Eighteen Penn State fencers will travel to Philadelphia this weekend for the Temple Open. The tournament will start Saturday, Oct. 27 and finish on Sunday, Oct. 28. The Temple Open starts at 8:30 a.m. both days. The event will take place in Temple's Liacouras Center.

Members of the Penn State men's fencing team competing this weekend are: Inti Farfan-Bayerl (Morrison, Colo.), Elias Cole (Chappaqua, N.Y.), Devin Tafoya (Highlands Ranch, Colo.), Ryan Griffiths (Fair Lawn, N.J.), Stephen Mathews (Denver, Colo.), Owen Prevey-Sullivan (Redding, Conn.), Petar Agatonovic (White Plains, N.Y.), Ian Neilson (Elkins Park, Pa.) and Andrew Grass (Burke, Va.).

Members of the Penn State women's fencing team competing this weekend are: Isabella Zuzulo (Newtown, Pa.), Anastasia Kalonji (Rennes, France), Nicolette Vigna (Thornwood, N.Y.), Sara Cunningham (Decatur, Ga.), Carlee Beaty (State College, Pa.), Alexandra Gillis (Dix Hills, N.Y.), Hailey Hahn (Berdnardsville, N.J.), Najiyyah Clark (Maplewood, N.J.) and Lodovica Bicego (Vicenza, Italy).
