UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Two Nittany Lions have finished play in Tulsa, Okla. at ITA All-Americans.
Constant De La Bassetiere (Reims, France) took on Kawika Lam of Washington in the first round of consolation singles. De La Bassetiere easily defeated Lam 6-3, 6-4.
"I was very pleased in Constant's match today because he learned from his mistakes yesterday and applied those changes into a winning formula," head coach Jeff Zinn said. "He played a very good player, who is a veteran out of the PAC-12 and got the win in convincing fashion."
Christian Lakoseljac (King City, Ontario) did not play his singles consolation match.
Penn State men's tennis will see their next action at ITA Regionals Oct. 18-21 in Blacksburg, Va.
