Women's Golf Announces 2019 Spring Schedule

FULL SCHEDULE

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Following a very successful fall season with four top-10 finishes and a pair of tournament championships, head coach Denise St. Pierre and the Penn State women's golf team announced their spring schedule earlier this week. The schedule features five tournaments prior to the Big Ten Championship and NCAA Regionals.

The team will play a mixture of familiar tournaments where there's been past success along with some new tournaments this spring after opening the second semester with a training trip down to Florida on January 25-27. Penn State will then travel back to the Sunshine State the following weekend for the UCF Challenge from February 3-5.

The Nittany Lions then have a month between tournaments as they next travel to the River Landing over spring break for a two-day event on March 4-5 before continuing back down to Florida for the Gator Invitational on March 9-10.

Penn State next heads to Briar's Creek on March 18-19 and closes out play two weeks later in a new event for the team at the Memphis Intercollegiate on April 1-2. The Nittany Lions then have a couple weeks off to prepare for the Big Ten Championship in Cincinnati, Ohio from April 19-21.

The NCAA regionals begin May 6-8 while the NCAA Women's Golf Championships will be held at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Arkansas from May 17-22.
