UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State men's tennis had a strong showing at day three of the Oracle ITA Fall National Championships.
Constant De La Bassetiere (Reims, France) and Gabriel Nemeth (Brasilia, Brazil) went up against No. 4 seed, Martin Joyce and Hunter Tubert of Ohio State in the second round of consolation doubles. The pair defeated the Buckeyes in straight sets 6-4, 6-2.
Next up, the Blue and White will advance to the semifinals to take on the winner of No. 1 seed, Columbia's Jack Mingjie Lin and Will Matheson.
"We have really played well in these last two matches," head coach Jeff Zinn said. " We need to keep it going against another top team and program tomorrow."
