UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The No. 14 Penn State women's soccer team (17-5-1) meets Wake Forest (9-8-2) in the third round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday, Nov. 18. The match is slated for a 3 p.m. start at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium in Morgantown, West Virginia.

LOOKING AT WAKE FOREST
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons enter the third round of the NCAA Tournament after defeating No. 8, and second-seeded, West Virginia in penalty kicks, 6-5. The two teams finished in a 2-2 draw.

The Demon Deacons have an overall record of 9-8-2 and went 4-6-0 in ACC play this season.

Offensively for Wake Forest, Bayley Feist leads the team in goals (seven) and points (18). Along with Feist, three other Demon Deacons have tallied at least 10 points.

In net, Nonie Frishette has played every minute on the year. In 2018, Frishette has made 75 saves, has a save percentage of .750, has a goals-against average of 1.27, and has posted six solo shutouts.

PENN STATE VS. WAKE FOREST
Sunday's match marks the sixth meeting between the two programs with Wake Forest leading the all-time series, 4-1-0.

The two teams met earlier this season with Wake Forest recording a 1-0 win over Penn State on Sept. 2.

BREAKOUT SEASONS
Heading into the 2018 season, the trio of Kerry Abello, Shea Moyer, and Kristin Schnurr had a combined one point. In 2018, the trio have tallied 50 points.

Prior to the Wake Forest match, Abello and Schnurr have 19 points each, while Moyer has 12 points.
