Men’s Lacrosse Inks Class of 2023

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men's lacrosse team and Head Coach Jeff Tambroni have announced the newest additions to the Nittany Lions family as 11 new student-athletes have signed their National Letter of Intent to join the Penn State family.

"Our staff is thrilled with the quality of character and athleticism of our incoming student-athletes," Head Coach Jeff Tambroni stated of his incoming players. "We are grateful that these young men have partnered with our current staff and team. We remain confident that they will have a significant impact in our community, classroom and on the field."

A three-year member of the Falmouth High School lacrosse team, Almeida was named Atlantic Coastal League First Team All-League during his freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons… Named to the Eastern Massachusetts Lacrosse Coaches Association Second Team All-American and to the Boston Lax All-American Team during the 2016-17 and 2017-2018 seasons… Named to the Boston Lax D2 First-Team All-State in 2017 and 2018… Earned Boston LAX All-Underclassmen Second Team honors in 2017, Boston Globe All-Scholastic honors and Boston Herald All-Scholastic honors in 2018… Scored a total of 183 goals and 92 assists during his three years of high school lacrosse… Four time Honor Roll Honoree … Played seven years for Laxachusetts Black coached by Sean Morris
