Nittany Lion Fencers Hit Midway Point of NAC in Cincinnati

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men's and women's fencing teams have select fencers competing at the four-day long NAC event in Cincinnati, Ohio. The event has hit its midway point with action slated to continue through the weekend.

On Friday, Penn State competed in men's epee. Freshman Ryan Griffiths (Fair Lawn, N.J.) and senior Anton Piskovatskov (Houston, Texas) led the squad with 13th and 35th place finishes, respectively.

On Saturday, sophomore Isabella Zuzulo (Newtown, Pa.) was the lone Penn State fencer to compete in the Division one women's foil event, where she placed 123rd.
