ROSEMONT, Ill. – After leading the Nittany Lions in the Tennessee Invitational this weekend, senior Hector Garcia Boissier shared Big Ten Men's Diver of the Week honors, the conference office announced Wednesday.
Garcia Boissier earned his third Big Ten honor of the season and the fourth of his career, sharing this week's honor with Michigan diver Ross Todd.
In the Tennessee Invitational, Garcia Boissier had two top-three finishes, including a win in the 3-meter (411.90), a season best. He also posted a third-place finish in the 1-meter with a score of 361.65.
The award is his third this season and fourth of his career.
Penn State swimmers and divers will start the New Year traveling Navy to face the hosting Mids and North Carolina Saturday, Jan. 12.
