Men’s Lacrosse Pick No. 10 in Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook Top-25

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men's lacrosse team was picked at No. 10 in the 2019 Inside Lacrosse Face-off Yearbook Top-25 list.

Three Big Ten teams were picked in the top-10 with Maryland at No. 3, Johns Hopkins at No. 9, and Penn State at No. 10.

Rutgers came in at No. 12, Ohio State at No. 17, and Michigan at No. 19 as all six Big Ten teams found themselves in the top-20.

Penn State looks to build off its 8-6 season in 2019 as the Nittany Lions return United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Third Team All-American Gerard Arceri at face-off, along with honorable mention All-Americans Mac O'Keefe and Chris Sabia.

O'Keefe will look to pair back up with redshirt junior Grant Ament, who missed all of 2018 with injury, on the attack, and will look for Nick Spillane and Kevin Hill to lead things out of the attacking midfield line.

Defensively, the Nittany Lions return their whole backline from 2018 as Sabia is joined by redshirt senior Michael Aronow and sophomore Brayden Peck. They will help protect junior Colby Kneese who started all 14 games in the cage for Penn State.

Penn State will open up the regular season on Saturday, February 2 with a home game against Villanova, who came in at No. 22 on the Face-Off Yearbook poll.
