UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Athletic Director's Trophy event in Kissimmee, Florida, featuring the Penn State and West Virginia men's golf teams has been cancelled. Travel delays prevented a timely arrival prior to the Sunday, Feb. 3 competition.
The Nittany Lions had won both previous meetings against the Mountaineers in the Athletic Director's Trophy event after the competition was reinstated in 2017 after a nearly 40-year hiatus.
Penn State will travel to the first of its two remaining February events as it participates in Big Ten Conference Match Play Feb. 8-9 at the Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, Florida.
