LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Penn State men's gymnastics junior Stephen Nedoroscik took home the pommel horse title in the Winter Cup finals late Sunday evening with a 15.000.
In Friday's prelims, Nedoroscik won the pommel horse with a 15.150, his second-best performance of the season. He won the prelim event by over a full point, as the second-place event finisher scored a 14.100.
Nedoroscik's combined score for the weekend was 30.150, over a point and a half better than the second-place finisher at 28.500 in national team member Sam Mikulak.
Penn State's next team competition will be on Saturday, February 23 at 4 p.m. as they host Navy and Air Force for Military Appreciation Day.
