  • Lindenwood suffered a pair of tough losses last weekend in its final road series of the season at Syracuse. The Lions lost 5-4 in overtime before dropping 5-1 in game two.
  • The Nittany Lions lead the all-time series 15-11-3 including a 2-0 record against the Lions in 2018-19. Back in University Park on Jan. 20-21, the Nittany Lions shutout Lindenwood 3-0 and came back to win 2-1.

HEAR IT FROM COACH
Head Coach Jeff Kampersal

  • "We've been preparing this entire season for this weekend and for Buffalo. We'll treat this weekend like a playoff series...These next two games are important to us, regardless of them being irrelevant to the standings. If we can get to .500, I think that is a good goal and accomplishment."
  •  "In all our games coming up, scoring that first goal is critically important. I think we'll try to press that as much as possible."

HEISING IN THE PENN STATE RECORD BOOKS

  • Among Penn State players with at least 50 career games played, Natalie Heising ranks first in program history with 0.78 points per game (53 pts, 68 GP).
  • She's also tied for the most power play goals in team history with 14 (Laura Bowman).
  • Heising has the most goals scored among all CHA players in the last two seasons with 33.
  • Her eight-career game-winning goals is already good for third in the Nittany Lions' all-time career rankings.
