Three Nittany Lions Selected for Women’s Junior Performance Tours

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; April 11, 2019 – Three Penn State Nittany Lion field hockey players have been selected to two different United States teams by the USA Field Hockey Junior High Performance Staff.  Head coach Char Morett-Curtiss' Penn State field hockey team will be well represented in two different tours of Germany.
 
Graduated senior midfielder Gini Bramley (Elizabethtown, Pa.) has been named to the U.S. Women's National Development Squad Travelling Team.  The team will tour The Netherlands from April 13-22 where they will play two games against the Scotland senior team, one against Belgium's U-21 team and one against the Stichtsche Cricket en Hockeyclub (SCHC).
 
Two current freshmen, goalie Brie Barraco (Allentown, Pa.) and forward Meghan Reese (Coopersburg, Pa.), have been named to the 2019 U.S. U-19 Women's National Team.  Barraco, Reese and the U-19 contingent will tour Germany from April 14-22 where they will battle Germany's U-18 team twice and Belgium's U-18 team once at the Dusseldorfer Hockey Club.
