UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State men's lacrosse senior Chris Sabia was drafted by the Chrome Lacrosse Club in the second round with the 10th overall pick early Wednesday morning.
Sabia, who was the No. 8 overall pick in the 2019 Major League Lacrosse Draft on March 9, has started all 57 games of his career at Penn State, and has recorded 66 caused turnovers, 101 ground balls, eight goals and one assist in his time for the Blue & White.
A 2019 Senior CLASS Award Finalist, Sabia was named All-Big Ten Second Team in both 2017 and 2018 and was a USILA Honorable Mention All-American in both of those seasons as well.
Sabia and the rest of the Nittany Lions wrap up the 2019 regular season with a 2:30 first face against Rutgers on Saturday, April 27. Penn State will honor its senior class prior to the start of the game.
