UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State rising senior Sam Zakutney took home the all-around title on Saturday evening at the 2019 Artistic Canadian Championships in Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario.
Zakutney won the all-around title with an 83.400 overall score.
He also won the high bar with a score of 14.600, almost a full point higher than the second-place finisher.
He finished second on parallel bars with a score of 14.45, while former Nittany Lion Wyatt Tyndall finished third on the p-bars with a 14.35.
Zakutney finished second on the vault as well with a 14.175. He added a fifth-place finish on floor, while scoring 13.150 on pommel and a 12.900 on rings.
