Penn State Soccer to Host Watch Party for USWNT at Panzer Stadium

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State women's and men's soccer programs will host a United States Women's National Team finals watch party at Panzer Stadium on Sunday, July 7. Gates open at 10:30 a.m. ET and the finals match is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. ET.

Penn State women's soccer alumni Alyssa Naeher ('09) and Ali Krieger ('06) are currently members of the USWNT and will be playing for their second title. Both Krieger and Naeher won the 2015 title with the US Women's National Team.

The U.S. will play the winner of Sweden and the Netherlands. That match is scheduled to be played Wednesday, July 3.

Admission to the event is free of charge. Free parking will be available only in the Jordan East parking lot for those attending.

Fans will be allowed to bring snacks & water into Panzer Stadium. All food and drink items are subject to search prior to entrance to the stadium. 

Entrance to the stadium will be through the gates located off of Dauer Drive.
