UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Fall ball is underway for Penn State baseball, highlighted by home exhibition games Saturday against the Ontario Blue Jays and Sunday, Oct. 6 against Georgetown Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
Penn State began team practice Sunday, Sept. 15 and will take the field against outside opposition for the first time this school year Saturday at 4 p.m. against the Blue Jays, an academy team based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The Nittany Lions will then open a home-and-home series against Georgetown, hosting the Hoyas Sunday, Oct. 6 with first pitch scheduled for noon. Admission to the games is free.
The Nittany Lions will then visit the Hoyas Sunday, Oct. 20 with first pitch at noon.
The 2020 Nittany Lions are slated to return five starting position players and one starting pitcher while welcoming 10 newcomers.
