Nittany Lions travel to Kansas City for Olympic Trials

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Seven Penn State fencers are heading to Kansas City, Mo., this upcoming weekend to compete in the U.S. Olympic Trials. The Olympic Trials will start on Friday, Oct. 18th and will run until Monday, Oct. 21st.

Two members of the Penn State women's team, Juniors Zara Moss (Cranberry Township, Pa.) and Kelli Wozniak (Westerville, Ohio), will be competing for Penn State in saber events this weekend.

Members of the men's team competing for Penn State this weekend are: Epee -- Sophomore Ryan Griffiths (Fair Lawn, N.J.), Sophomore Devin Tafoya (Highlands Ranch, Colo.), and freshman Jonathan Piskovatskov(Houston, Texas). Foil -- Junior Shane Iverson (Basking Ridge, N.J.). Saber -- Freshman Ethan Mullennix (San Francisco, Calif.).
