UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Senior Stephen Beattie of Boalsburg, Pennsylvania, has been added to the Penn State men's basketball roster for 2019-20. The 6-2 guard has been a member of the team as a practice player and has earned Academic All-Big Ten honors.
A two-season captain and three-year letterwinner for coach Richard Ciambotti at St. Joseph's Academy, Beattie was the Wolves' first 1,000-point scorer.
The son of Timothy and Elizabeth Beattie, he has five brothers, Christopher, Matthew, Michael, Shawn, and Nicholas, and a sister, Katelyn.
