Men’s Tennis Wraps Up Fall at ITA Regionals

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Penn State men's tennis team wrapped up action at the ITA Atlantic Regional Championships Saturday, highlighted by Christos Antonopoulos advancing to the round of 16 in singles play.
 
SINGLES
Antonopoulos advanced to the round of 16 after defeating Nathan Perrone of St. Joseph's, 6-2, 6-3. He then dropped a tight 6-4, 6-7 (5), 4-6 battle to Joseph Brailovsky of William and Mary.  
 
Gabriel Nemeth saw his tournament come to a close in the round of 32 after falling 7-5, 4-6, 1-6 to Younes Lalami of Old Dominion.
 
DOUBLES
The duo of Nemeth/Alp Sentay faced Old Dominion's pair of Vidal/Lalami in the round of 16, falling 8-4.
 
ITA Regionals served as Penn State's final scheduled fall competition. The Nittany Lions will open the spring season in January.
