Former Lion Gini Bramley Set for FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifier

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Former Penn State Nittany Lion All-American Gini Bramley (Elizabethtown, Pa.) will represent the United States as a member of the FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifier Traveling Roster.  Bramley and Team USA will get a shot to qualify for the 2020 Olympic Games in a series with India on Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 in Bhubaneswar, India. 
 
The United States, ranked No. 13 in the world, and No. 9 India, are vying for a spot in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and will face each other on Friday, Nov. 1, at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, India.  The next day, the U.S. and India square off a second time at the same venue.
 
Bramley was also a member of the 2019 U.S. National Team.  She left Penn State with 78 career points off 30 goals and 18 assists, eight game winning goals and 78 starts in 79 games played over four seasons. Bramley was a 2018 All-American (third team), a two-time first-team All-Mideast Region selection and a first-team All-Big Ten pick.
