UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men's golf team wraps up the fall portion of its schedule Sunday-Monday, Oct. 27-28 at the UNCG/Grandover Collegiate. The East Course features a par-72, 7,245-yard design that challenged the Nittany Lions in 2018 in their first appearance in this tournament.

"UNCG puts on a terrific fall closing event," said Penn State men's golf coach Greg Nye. "Grandover East is a very challenging test. We will need to be hitting fairways so we can better control our shots going into some sectored and undulating greens."

The teams will play two rounds on Sunday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. ET. Pairings will be posted as soon as they are available Saturday.

Seniors Ryan Davis (Berkeley Heights, N.J) and Alec Bard (New Hartford, N.Y.) hold the top two spots with juniors Lou Olsakovsky (Upper St. Clair, Pa.), Lukas Clark (Holland, Pa.) and James McHugh (Rye, N.Y.) rounding out the starting five. Freshman Jimmy Meyers (Wexford, Pa.) will compete as an individual in this event.

Host institution UNCG won its first-ever title in this event in 2018, moving into the top spot after the second round and holding on for the crown. Penn State played well in the first two rounds, but slipped back to fourth in the final round.

The 2019 field includes seven familiar teams from the Nittany Lions' fall schedule with No. 6 Duke, UNCG, Rutgers, VCU, Villanova, Virginia and Virginia Tech on previous leaderboards. Appalachian State, Chattanooga, Elon, Louisiana Monroe, Ohio and Seton Hall are also in the mix.

Live scoring for the tournament is available here.

A recap will be posted on GoPSUsports.com following the action on all three days of competition.
