UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The No. 5-ranked Nittany Lions return to Beaver Stadium after three weeks away to face Indiana Nov. 16 at noon on ABC, it was announced today. The game will also be available on the Penn State Sports Network (10:30 a.m. airtime) and GoPSUsports.com.
Penn State and Indiana have squared off every year since 2007 in Big Ten games. The Nittany Lions are 21-1 all-time against the Hoosiers, including an 10-0 mark at home. The last time the squads met, quarterback Trace McSorley rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns and the defense and special teams made big plays to lead PSU to a 33-28 win in Bloomington. Miles Sanders had 126 all-purpose yards with a touchdown, while KJ Hamler (58 yards) and Johnathan Thomas (94 yards) had huge kickoff returns to set up touchdown drives. The Penn State defense forced three turnovers that resulted in 10 points.
