BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Penn State women's hockey team plays for a championship Saturday afternoon when it takes on No. 7/6 Clarkson at 4 p.m. in the Thanksgiving Windjammer Classic hosted by Vermont.
The Nittany Lions (4-7-4) shutout host Vermont 4-0 Friday afternoon while the Golden Knights (11-2-4) took down Minnesota State Mankato by the same score in the early game Friday.
Penn State and Clarkson have met four times in their program history with the Golden Knight taking all four games. This will be the first time the two teams have played since Oct. 13-14, 2017 at Pegula Ice Arena.
