UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; December 10, 2019 – Penn State Nittany Lion senior Madison Morano (Hammonton, N.J.) has been named to the Longstreth-NFHCA All-American team, earning third-team laurels. This marks the first All-America honor for the Penn State captain.
Morano started all 20 games for Penn State this season and ended the campaign with four points off a goal and two assists. Morano capped off a super Lion career with 36 points from seven goals and 22 assists.
Morano has been a three-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten honoree. She was named to the 2019 All-Big Ten Tournament Team, was a second-team All-Big Ten selection and a first-team NFHCA All-Mideast Region pick.
Penn State has had a first-, second- or third-team All-American in 31 of head coach Char Morett-Curtiss' 33 seasons at the helm of the program.
