Women’s Gymnastics Season and Single-Meet Tickets Now Available

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State Women's Gymnastics team has announced its season ticket prices for the 2020 season. Season tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for youth (ages 12 and younger).  Single-meet tickets are also available for $8 for adults and $5 for youth.
 
The Nittany Lions are set to host five meets, including four featuring 2019 NCAA Regional teams. Penn State will also host a 2020 NCAA Regional at Rec Hall on April 2-4.
 
Penn State welcomes West Virginia for its home opener on Saturday, January 11 at 4 p.m. The Mountaineers competed at the Ann Arbor Regional and finished 27th in the RoadToNationals rankings.
 
The Nittany Lions return to Rec Hall on Saturday, January 25 for a meet against Iowa at 4 p.m.  The meet will be broadcast on Big Ten Network. The Hawkeyes were ranked 31st in the final RTN standings and competed at the Corvallis Regional.
 
Penn State hosts Rutgers on Friday, January 31 for a 7 p.m. meet. The Scarlet Knights ranked 47th in the final RTN rankings.
 
The blue and white continues their home slate on Saturday, February 29 with a quad meet against NC State, Cornell and Towson at 4 p.m. The Wolfpack competed at the Athens Regional. Penn State earned wins over all three opponents during the 2019 regular season.
 
Penn State concludes its home schedule on Saturday, March 7 when it welcomes Florida for a 4 p.m. meet. The Nittany Lions will hold their annual Senior Day ceremony. The Gators finished No. 10 in the country after advancing to the finals of the Corvallis Regional.
 
The Nittany Lions are set to host an NCAA Regional on April 2-4 in Rec Hall.  Penn State last hosted an NCAA Regional in 2018. However, a new format, installed in 2019, has expanded the regional to a three-day event.  Day one (Thursday, April 2) will feature a dual-meet between the two lowest ranked teams with the winner advancing to a quad meet on Friday.  Day two will include two quad meets with the top two teams from each advancing to Saturday's regional final quad meet.
 
The Nittany Lions placed third in the Session I meet of the NCAA Regional in Ann Arbor and finished the season ranked 24th in the RoadToNationals standings. In her first year with the program, Jessie Bastardi placed first in the session and third in the regional to qualify for the NCAA Championships in Fort Worth, Texas. Junior Lauren Bridgens, a 2018 NCAA Championship qualifier, returns after earning first-team All-Big Ten honors for the second straight year. 
 
Bastardi and Bridgens are two of 11 returners from the 2019 squad. Penn State also welcomed Amy Bladon, Bella Romagnano and Cassidy Rushlow to the program.
 
The Nittany Lions are set to open a challenging 2020 slate on Saturday, January 4 at the California Grand Invitational in Anaheim.  Penn State will compete in the 4 p.m. ET session against Arizona State, Auburn and Denver.
