Daly and Cey Lead Nittany Lions During Day Two Of The Big Al Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – Swimmer Michael Daly and diver Jonah Cey lead the Nittany Lions with two top-two finishes during day two of the Big Al Invitational at Princeton.

The Nittany Lions remain in fourth place with 462 points after day two of competition.
 
Top Swims
Michael Daly secured his second top-two finish of the weekend with a second-place NCAA B-cut time of 3:48.76 in the 400 IM. On Friday, Daly placed first in the 500 freestyle with a career-best time of 4:20.10. Hayden Harlow also swam an NCAA B-cut time in the same event with a third-place finish in 3:49.05.
 
Adding to the NCAA qualifiers list, William Lulek swam a B-cut time of 3:49.98 in the 400 IM. Closing out day two individual events, junior Brad Johnson touched fourth in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 54.04.
 
Top Dives
On the boards, sophomore Jonah Cey secured first-place with a personal best score of 353.75 in the 3-meter dive. Additionally, Bryce Hoch placed fourth in the 3-meter dive with an NCAA Zones qualifying score of 331.55. "A great day for the men on three meter" said Head Diving Coach Jeff DiNicola. "Both Jonah and Bryce increased their scores by over 60 points from prelims"
