UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Pegula Ice Arena is set to host its third National Hockey League game as the Buffalo Sabres and Pittsburgh Penguins square off in a pre-season clash on Monday, September 16th.
Gates
The game is slated for a 7 p.m. puck drop and the doors will open promptly at 5:30 p.m. All gates (A, B and C) will be open and available for the public's use. Student tickets will only be admitted through the Gate B entrance.
Tickets
Tickets for the game are still available on ticketmaster.com. Standing room only tickets can be purchased for $22 by calling 1-800-NITTANY.
Student tickets are also still available for $25 here.
Parking
Premium and general parking options are available for fans attending the NHL Game.
Premium parking in the Shields Lot is available for pre-sale for $23 here. Pre-sale parking is the only way to ensure premium parking access on game night. Pre-sale parking passes can be printed through the confirmation page or viewed on the Park Mobile app. The QR code will be scanned upon entrance into the lot on game night. Premium parking in the Wagner lot will be available the night of the event for $25 cash only. General parking in the Beaver Stadium West and Jordan East lots will be cash only the night of the event for $10. All parking will be sold on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Ticket holders with a valid Penn State parking permit may park for free in both the Beaver Stadium West and Jordan East lots with their parking pass properly displayed.
All parking lots will open at 5:00 p.m. for the game.
Merchandise
The Hockey Valley Team Shop will have select Buffalo Sabres and Pittsburgh Penguins gear available for purchase in addition to their standard Penn State Hockey offerings.
There will also be a commemorative game puck featuring the matchup for sale at various locations on the main concourse for $9.98/puck.
Alcohol
The NHL Game will include beer sales at the concession stands as well as portable kiosk locations on the concourse, along with wine sales in premium spaces. Purchasing alcohol will require valid identification.
Penn State encourages fans who choose to drink to do so responsibly. A Designated Driver program will be available inside Pegula Ice Arena at the Guest Services Desk on the main concourse.
