Opens in a new window 2019-20 Nittany Lion Schedule

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – At least 25 regular-season games for the Penn State men's basketball team will appear on BTN, FS1 or the ESPN family of networks for the 2019-20 season. The Big Ten announced broadcast arrangements and tip times for nearly all of the Nittany Lions' conference games Thursday and most nonconference game times have also been set.

Penn State's 2019-20 schedule and available times and broadcast information is available at GoPSUSports.com. All times listed are Eastern Time.

Penn State fans have the opportunity to watch games on their mobile devices as BTN and FS1 games will also be available on the Fox Sports Go mobile app. Games broadcast by the ESPN family of networks are available through the ESPN App, computers, smartphones, tablets and streaming devices to fans who receive their high-speed Internet connection or video subscription from an affiliated service provider.

The Nittany Lions' season opener vs. Maryland Eastern Shore at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5 and their first Saturday game of 2019-20, vs. Wagner, on Nov. 9, both at the Bryce Jordan Center, will be available on BTN Plus. The Wagner tipoff time will be determined at a later date.

FS1 will broadcast the Gavitt Tipoff game at Georgetown on Thursday, Nov. 14 with a 6:30 p.m. start time. Later in the season, the BJC will be the site of the next FS1 broadcast when the Illini travel to Happy Valley Tuesday, Feb. 18 for the lone meeting between the two programs in 2019-20. The third and final game on FS1 is at Indiana at noon on Sunday, Feb. 23.

The Big Ten Network will host a lion's share of Penn State's regular-season games during the 2019-20 campaign, beginning with the Tuesday, Nov. 19 game vs. Bucknell, slated for a 6:30 p.m. start time in the BJC. The Saturday, Nov. 23 game vs. Yale will be available on either BTN or BTN Plus with the tip time to be determined.

The Big Ten Conference season opener, at Ohio State on Saturday, Dec. 7, time still TBD, is one of three games on BTN in December. Alabama's return game on Saturday, Dec. 14 at the BJC is set for a 2 p.m. start and the following Friday night, the Nittany Lions play host to Central Connecticut State at 6 p.m.

One of the highlights of the 2019-20 season brings Penn State to Philadelphia for a "home" game vs. Iowa. BTN will carry the 2 p.m. game from the historic venue, The Palestra.

The Nittany Lions stay on BTN for the next three games as they travel to Rutgers for a 7 p.m. game on Tuesday, Jan. 7. The Saturday, Jan. 11 game in the BJC vs. Wisconsin will be on BTN with the game time to be set in the future. The mid-week trip to Minneapolis, Minn., pits Penn State vs. the Golden Gophers in a 9 p.m. ET contest, also on BTN.

The Big Ten Network will carry the final two games of January with Penn State at Michigan on Wednesday, Jan. 22 for a 7 p.m. matchup and back in the BJC for an 8:30 p.m. tip time on Wednesday, Jan. 29 vs. Indiana. Seven of the nine Nittany Lion games in February will air on BTN with the first two on the road at Nebraska on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. ET and at Michigan State at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4.

The first BTN weekend home game in nearly a month pairs Minnesota and Penn State at the BJC on Saturday, Feb. 8 for a 4 p.m. tip time. The Nittany Lions trek to Purdue next for a 6:30 p.m. BTN broadcast on Tuesday, Feb. 11. The first of two meetings between Penn State and Northwestern takes place in University Park at noon on Saturday, Feb. 15.

Three of the last four games in the regular season are set for BTN as Rutgers travels to Happy Valley for a 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26 contest and the Saturday, Feb. 29 "extra day" event at Iowa has a 2 p.m. ET tipoff. The final game of 2019-20 is Penn State at Northwestern for a 4 p.m. ET meeting.

The Nittany Lions will appear on ESPN2 for the first game of the NIT Season Tip-Off on Wednesday, Nov. 27 vs. Mississippi for the 5 p.m. tilt. The Friday games in the Barclays Center could be on ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPN News.

Penn State is back on ESPN2 for its Big Ten Conference home opener against Maryland on Tuesday, Dec. 10. That contest will commence at 7 p.m. ESPNU will have the call for the noon Sunday, Dec. 29 game vs. Cornell, the Nittany Lions' final nonconference game and final game of 2019.

When Ohio State visits the BJC on Saturday, January 18, ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU will bring a national audience for the noon game. The home finale for Penn State, vs. Michigan State on Tuesday, March 3 will be broadcast on either ESPN or ESPN2.
