COLUMBUS, Ohio – A pair of 20-plus point efforts from senior Siyeh Frazier and junior Kamaria McDaniel weren't enough for the Penn State women's basketball team as the Lady Lions fell 80-70 on the road at Ohio State Sunday afternoon.
Frazier and McDaniel finished with 22 points apiece, as the duo scored 20-plus for the second-straight game. Freshmen Makenna Marissa and Shay Hagans followed with nine points apiece.

McDaniel drained a three-pointer at the 2:46 mark to spark a 7-3 Lady Lion streak to close the half and pull PSU within 33-26 heading into the locker room.
- A 7-2 streak fueled by five McDaniel points and a Frazier three-pointer pulled Penn State within two at 35-33 and forced an OSU timeout just 1:30 into the second half. The Buckeyes worked their lead back to seven at 42-35 two minutes later, but McDaniel scored Penn State's next seven points to put the score at 44-42 with 5:13 on the clock.
- The third-quarter runs continued, this time a 9-1 OSU burst that had the Buckeyes back up by 10 at 53-43. Penn State pulled within 53-48, but Ohio State heated up from downtown to fuel a 13-2 stretch to close the quarter and put the Buckeyes in front 66-50.
- Six points from Frazier and four from Marisa comprised a 10-2 Penn State burst in the first four minutes of the final term as the Lady Lions trimmed the deficit to 68-60 with 5:41 to play.
