Women’s Lacrosse Scrimmage Moved To Holuba Hall

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State women's lacrosse scrimmage against Cincinnati on Saturday will be played in Holuba Hall, instead of Panzer Stadium.  The contest is scheduled for 3 p.m. with doors opening at 2:30 p.m.  The scrimmage is free to the public.

The Nittany Lions, led by Head Coach Missy Doherty, won eight games in 2019.  Penn State returns 24 members for the 2020 season and add 11 newcomers. The returners include preseason Big Ten Players To Watch senior attacker Maria Auth, senior attacker Madison Carter and sophomore goalkeeper Taylor Suplee.  Carter was named an Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-American.

Cincinnati, coached by Gina Thomas, went 12-7 last season and reached the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Championship game.

Penn State begins the regular season on Saturday, February 8 at Towson with a noon first draw.
