Men's and Women's Diving Conclude Invitational Meet in Florida

CORAL SPRINGS, FLA. – The Penn State men's and women's diving teams concluded the Penn State Invitational against the University of Michigan with several top three finishes and personal bests.

Top Dives
Freshman Kevin Sullivan had a stand-out meet, qualifying for NCAA Zones in the 3-Meter with a 330.98 score. After today's dives, Sullivan will be competing in NCAA Zone Championships in both the 1-Meter and 3-Meter
 
Senior Christina Crowell of the women's team finished the meet with a third-place score of 267.57 in the 1-Meter, coming off a high-scoring performance at Princeton. Crowell also improved in the Tower dive, achieving a personal best with 207.60 points.
 
Bryce Hoch and Jonah Cey of the men's team also dove well at the invitational. Hoch placed third in the 1-Meter with a score of 327.67, and Jonah placed second in the Tower dive (332.55).

On the team's Tower diving, Coach Jeff DiNicola said, "I am impressed with tower and the future Penn State can show for tower. Kevin's performance with very limited practice was a great sign. There's still a lot to build on as a team."

The Penn State divers will head to Buffalo, N.Y. for the three-day Buffalo Diving Invitational, starting Friday, January 10 and concluding Sunday, January 12 while women's swimming will host Buffalo in McCoy Natatorium on Friday, January 10 and Saturday, January 11.
