Men's Lacrosse Hosts Saint Joseph's at Panzer Stadium on Saturday

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State men's lacrosse, ranked No. 2 in the USILA Coaches Poll, is back at Panzer Stadium on Saturday for a non-conference game against Saint Joseph's. The game is scheduled for noon and will stream on BTN Plus with a subscription.

The Nittany Lions are 2-0 with wins over Lafayette and then-No. 20 Villanova. They are out-scoring their opponents by an average of 8.5 goals while averaging 17.5 goals per game.

PARKING RESTRICTION
• With a men's basketball game going on at the Bryce Jordan Center at the same time as the lacrosse game, no RVs will be allowed to park in the Jordan East lot. Those with RVs will be redirected to Porter North Lot.

THE MATCHUP
• Penn State leads 7-0 in the all-time series with Saint Joseph's, which began in 2007. The teams will play for the first time since 2013.
• The Lions are 5-0 at home against the Hawks.
• Penn State has out-scored Saint Joseph's 82-43 in the series and 65-34 at home.

• Grant Ament leads the nation in assists (11), points (18) and points/game (9.0).
• Gerard Arceri leads the nation in faceoffs won (40), ground balls (33) and ground balls/game (16.5).
• Mac O'Keefe leads the nation in goals (10).

SCOUTING SAINT JOSEPH'S
• Saint Joseph's is 1-0 after winning 15-8 at St. Bonaventure. Zach Cole went 24-27 on faceoffs and picked up 22 ground balls in the win.
• The Hawks went 7-7 overall and 3-3 in the Northeast Conference last season.
• Cole was the Northeast Conference Rookie of the Year and was first team All-NEC last season. Goalkeeper Mike Adler was a second-team selection.
